Trade Book
The engine's own portfolio. It buys S&P 500 names that clear the technical rules, weighs them by the news, and holds at most 15 positions of $10,000 each. Technical exits and rotation run once a day after the close; news acts during the session.
The book against the S&P 500
Both lines start at zero on the day the book first held anything. The book is its P&L on the money it has put to work — the same basis as the tiles above.
Holdings
Exit at is the price the position closes at if it falls — the highest of its stop, the 15% loss cap and the 15% give-back from its peak. Room is how much of the risk it carried at entry is still unspent. Sorted by return; click any heading to re-sort.
Activity
Every trade and the reason for it. A news-driven trade quotes the headline.
On deck
Names the last scan cleared that the book does not hold, ranked by reward:risk adjusted for news. The next free slot goes to the top one.
Blocked by news
Names that cleared the technical rules but were kept out by the news, with every event that went into the score.
Closed
Which rule closed each position and what it measured. Open the note for the engine's own record and, for a news exit, the headlines.
How the book trades
